Good to Share respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal data in accordance with the provisions of India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDPA) and applicable Indian privacy rules.
2. No Automatic Location Tracking
Good to Share does not automatically access, poll, or track your real-time GPS or device geolocation coordinates. Neighbourhood discovery is conducted strictly through manual user selection (such as choosing Panampilly Nagar, Fort Kochi, or Kakkanad from the area selector).
3. Information We Collect
We only collect data necessary to facilitate your use of the marketplace:
- Account Information: Name, email address, phone number, and authentication tokens.
- Order & Transaction Records: Reservation details, pickup timestamps, and transaction references.
- Merchant Information: Business registration details, physical address, and FSSAI license numbers for partner onboarding.
- Communications: Messages submitted via customer support forms or complaints registers.
4. How We Use Your Information
Your information is used strictly to:
- Verify reservations and communicate pickup codes with merchants.
- Ensure marketplace security and prevent fraudulent access.
- Comply with Indian tax and statutory recordkeeping mandates.
5. Data Sharing & Third Parties
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data. Data is shared with partner merchants solely to the extent necessary to fulfill your specific pickup order (e.g. your first name and order reference number). Payment processing is executed by compliant, licensed payment gateways.
