KOCHI PILOT · PICKUP ONLY
Our Purpose

Good food, cared for locally

Good to Share is a proposed pickup-only marketplace for safe, eligible surplus food from local businesses. The first step is building a careful, small-area pilot.

Starting in Kochi, Kerala

Why Kochi, and why now?

Kochi is a vibrant culinary capital—from centuries-old bakeries in Mattancherry and Fort Kochi to contemporary cafes in Panampilly Nagar and bustling lunch spots across Edappally and Kakkanad. Every single day, conscientious food businesses prepare top-tier meals, breads, and treats.

Yet, because predicting footfall is never exact, perfectly good, wholesome food is often left unsold at the end of shifts. In standard distribution models, this surplus either goes to waste or incurs heavy disposal costs.

Good to Share was conceived as a hyper-local, community-driven platform: a simple way for local bakeries, grocers, and eateries to list their evening surplus at a fair reduction, and for neighbours to reserve and collect it in person before closing time.

Our Foundational Commitments

Built from day one with care, transparency, and safety.

Food Safety First

Surplus does not mean compromised quality. We require all partner merchants to be FSSAI-registered and uphold rigorous temperature and packaging standards.

Strictly Pickup Only

No delivery motorbikes, no single-use delivery transit emissions, and no extra courier commissions. Customers pick up directly from neighbourhood food shops.

Zero Waste Community

Every meal saved diverts organic waste from landfills and values the resources, water, and human effort invested into preparing wholesome food.
